We had the pleasure of launching our spring/summer menu in the company of over 200 guests at a party last Thursday. Outside the terrace was lit by torchlight and our chefs cooked up samples from our new barbeque menu and inside fine wine
flowed while guests enjoyed canapé samplers from the delicious new menu. Those who missed the event were updated regularly throughout the night via Twitter
. Guests tweeted their compliments to Will Carvalho (our onsite chef) and discussed our impressive refurbishment. All guests were given a couple of our famous salted chocolate-caramel brownies to take away with them - definitely a ‘highlight’ of the night... Read more

3 dinners in one night - the @41PP team rise to the challenge!

Last Monday night saw us facing the challenge of hosting 3 separate private dinners at 41 Portland Place. All three clients expected the best food and service and the team couldn’t wait to take on this operational and logistical challenge.
With three dinners taking place, service required nothing but military precision from our army of chefs and serving staff.
First out of the kitchen were two delicious starters of goats cheese with poached pear and guinea fowl and ham hock terrine served to guests in the Laurie Landeau Room. With no time to rest, Chef Will sent out a main course of roast wild salmon with pancetta puy lentils with baby beetroot to the Landeau guests, while at the same time kicking off a birthday dinner in the Ann Rylands Room

A Royal first for 41PP

This March, 41 Portland Place will receive its first royal visitor when HRH the Princess Royal attends a gala reception to officially open our building. During the visit HRH will meet some of the design and construction team who made our vision a reality and the all important funders who made it all possible. We’re serving a champagne afternoon tea
of classic scones with jam & Cornish clotted cream plus the all important delicate finger sandwiches followed by a selection of cakes that put a contemporary spin on the traditional classics. Follow our twitter feed @41PP for updates on the event.
